It is with great sadness I announce the passing of former fire chief
Gordy Vadnais on June 26, 2005.

Gordy served on the White Bear Lake Fire Department for 39 years the
last 20 years as fire chief. He retired in 1988.

Gordy was very involved in the Minnesota fie service and very active in
the Capitol City Mutual Aid and Regional Associations as well as the
Ramsey County and Washington County Fire Chiefs.

Gordy served as president of the MSFCA in 1980 and 1981.

He was 76 years old.

Gordy Vadnais Funeral Arrangements

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday July 6^th at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN 55110.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8pm at the Church and Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.

There will be a private family internment on Thursday. The family invites you to a reception following the mass at St. Mary’s Hall.

Visitation next Tuesday July 5th from 4-8PM at Saint Mary of The Lake Church, White Bear Lake.
