|
At least
18 years of age.
Successfully pass a physical agility test.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Successfully pass a pre-employment
background/criminal history check.
Successfully complete a physical examination.
Meet at least one of the following residency or
employment criteria
Live in the City of Roseville.
Live within 10 minutes of a Roseville fire station.
Work a daytime job in Roseville and allowed to leave work for major
calls.
Be willing and able to work 15-25 hours per week.
Requirements
Be able to work evening/weekend (part-time shift
hours).
Be able to respond to a minimum of 30% of the
emergency calls each quarter.
Be able to attend a minimum of 5 training
sessions per quarter.
Complete training and (successfully pass final
exam, where required):
Department sponsored firefighter introductory
course. (24 Hours)
State of Minnesota Firefighter I & II
courses. (132 Hours)
Hazardous Materials Operations course. (40 Hours)
Emergency Vehicle Operations course. (8 Hours)
Basic pump operations course. (8 Hours)
Emergency Medical First Responder course. (40
Hours)
Be able to attend monthly department meetings.
Be willing to participate in special events.

$7.00 per hour for working shifts at a fire
station.
$9.00 per hour for answering emergency calls and
training.
$10.15 per hour of training
