More than 1500 fireman, representing practically every fire department in the state was in Virginia with their family and friends to attend the 68th annual convention of Minnesota State Fire Department Association.

More than 1500 fireman, representing practically every fire department in the state was in Virginia with their family and friends to attend the 68th annual convention of Minnesota State Fire Department Association.
All these pictures were taken on
Tuesday
June 11, 1940 starting at 1600 hours. My Ma took pictures on the
100 and 200 block on Chestnut Street so I'm pretty close
in the order that you see 'em. I was only 11 months old when these
photos were taken.
Image 6 and 7 are the same picture
but I
cropped 7.
Image 20 MAYBE the Ely Drum and
Bugle
Corp because they also had a sharp outfit but I put down Chisholm on
the graphics. The rest of the graphics to the best of my knowledge
are accurate.
