In the FSCG will demolition cost be eligible?

I would consider demolition to be part of site preparation.  However, prior to demo, a historic assessment must be done.

Minnesota Bill would require cities to buy American. Will this impact the FSCG program?

Under HF 1169 and SF 1058, all Minnesota cities would be prohibited from buying public safety equipment and employee apparel that are not manufactured in the United States.

“Buy America” is already part of the stimulus funding.  It appears this new legislation would extend the same requirements to other Federal programs.  I have no idea how any of this would be monitored or policed.
