especially to the fire service of Minnesota, it is only fitting to inform you of how formalized fire training started. You guessed it, back in September of 1919 by State Fire Marshal George H. Nettelson. From that historic date as we look forward we see the impact of the State Fire Marshal’s Office on training and education in Minnesota.
